about us
WHO WE ARE:
Unified to Support Metabolic Disorders is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation that focuses on improving the lives of individuals with PKU through advocacy, education, support, awareness, and collaboration with IEM support organizations across the country.
We are an ALL VOLUNTEER organization which means your hard earned money goes directly to help those affected by the disorder. We are unique in that we support grassroots efforts across the country, when and where support is needed. We encourage unique and different ideas, and sharing of time and talents with each other to make our mission successful!
HISTORY:
Our organization was founded in 2005 by visionary individuals who believed we could unify for the common good and move past our differences to improve the lives of individuals with PKU around the country. We began as a small South Texas organization, and we have grown as we were needed to support families in other areas of the country.
